| Description Summary | Jocelyn Hinton has lived in the West for over 60 years, with over 40 years in Glen Eden raising her five
children. She recalls the changes that she has seen and talks about her amazing life. She has designed,
built and painted her own houses, kept bees, taught music and has been in both orchestras and choirs.
She plays the violin, viola, cello and has learnt flute and clarinet as well. She has been a Leader in the
Rangers and Senior Guides, has climbed mountains in Nepal, taught English in West Nepal and has made
many trips to missions and projects all around the world visiting on numerous occasions Australia, the
Solomons, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Alaska and USA. She reflects on advice she would give young
