Patricia recalls going to live events at these halls. She talks about the influence of Elvis movies and rock ‘n’ roll and describes dances. Patricia also recalls going to picture shows and live stage shows in Auckland City during the 1950s and 1960s. Patricia mentions the St James, His Majesty’s and the Civic Theatres. She also talks about going to the Regent Theatre in Helensville. |
