| Description Summary | Terry (Arnie) Arnerich speaks about his experiences as a long line fisherman and bushman, and his last 30 years as a shearer in New Zealand and Australia. Originally from Birkenhead, as a young man, went north to Martin’s Bay where he got into Long Line fishing; from there he went to Waipu where he was a bushman.
The Arnerich family has a long history in New Zealand, with Arnerich’s in the South Island going back to 1866. |
