Description | Article profiles Dillon Harris of Glendene, a volunteer fire fighter at Henderson Fire Station. He will be joining other Kiwi fire fighters travelling to New York to honour the memory of the 343 fire fighters who died in the aftermath of the September 11 2001 attack. The Annual New York City Memorial Stair Climb involves climbing 72 flights of stairs while carrying 28 kilograms of equipment. Each fire fighter will carry a photograph of one of the emergency responders who died in the attacks. Dillon has been given a photograph of fire fighter Thomas Joseph Kuveikis. |
