| Historical Notes | Barry Brickell grew up in Devonport, and is an artist, conservationist and railway enthusiast. He now lives in the town of Coromandel, where he runs the Driving Creek Railway and Potteries. In June and July 2009 he was Visiting Writer at the Michael King Writer's Centre. |
