| Description | Changes to the proposed Merge development in Takapuna were approved by the North Shore City Council at this month's strategy and finance committee meeting. The committee also granted an 18-month extension to May 25, 2010, for developer, Location Group, to secure resource consent. Council strategic projects manager, Simon Guillemin, says the developer wants to address the cost escalation, by design modifications and the concerns of ratepayers. Auckland Regional Council also objects to the 750 proposed car parking spaces. |
